Gastes is a small, quiet village on lake Parentis/Biscarrosse. Mild tourism. Bar and restaurant on the lake shore, shopping around the corner. Weakly market, grocery store, bike rental, tennis courts, sailing and windsurfing school, small boat harbor, water sports and fishing on site. Very good network of cycle paths and hiking trails in the pine forests.
