Plage Centrale
Supervised beach.
A life saver post is only available at Labenne’s main beach, at the end of “l’Avenue de la Plage”. A large car park is available for cars, motorbikes and bikes. The Beach esplanade is a place of meeting where you can find a surf school, snack bars and a playing ground for children. It’s an ideal place to contemplate the ocean, the dune and the Pyrenees. The life saver post operates from mid-june to mid-september. Swimming is forbidden outside the marked areas. The life saver information boards will give you details about tides and air and see water temperatures. Dogs are allowed but off the limits marked by the yellow and black panels.
