Stripped of all superfluity, the a cappella voices of Les Cop(i)nes reveal the richness of the melodies, rhymes and alliterations of the "craditionnelles" songs in their repertoire. Wacky, funny, even outrageous, these songs are sublimated by prodigious harmonies and melodic flights of fancy. Les Cop(i)nes compete with inventiveness and talent to bring their droll lyrics to life! Just like children?s rhymes, chansons grivoises have stood the test of time and age, and you can?t help but hum the tune and the lyrics by the end of the concert.
